Cartridge replacement
Each cartridge has a job — and a lifespan
A purifier is only as good as its cartridges. The sediment filter catches sand and rust, carbon removes chlorine and odour, the RO membrane removes dissolved salts and the post-filter polishes the taste. Each one wears out at a different speed, so a fixed "change everything every year" rule either wastes money or leaves you drinking poorly filtered water.
Our technician checks each cartridge, measures TDS and replaces only the stages that are actually finished.
Typical replacement intervals
- Sediment (PP) cartridge — every 3–6 months (sooner with tank or tubewell water)
- Pre-carbon and post-carbon — every 6–12 months
- RO membrane — every 1.5–2 years, or when TDS rises
- Mineral / alkaline cartridge — every 12 months
- UF membrane — every 12–24 months, depending on water quality

Used consumables (sediment, carbon and mineral cartridges) are not covered after installation. The warranty does not cover damage caused by power surges, misuse, or very high-iron water fed without a pre-filter.

How do I know my cartridges need changing?
Slow flow, a change in taste or smell, a rising TDS reading, or more than a year since the last change are the usual signs.
Can I change cartridges myself?
Sediment cartridges are easy to swap. Membranes and sealed inline filters are best fitted by a technician to avoid leaks and air locks.
Are your cartridges genuine?
Yes. We supply new, sealed cartridges and membranes and show you the old ones we removed.
Do you have cartridges for my brand?
We stock standard 10-inch, inline and membrane sizes that fit most brands. Tell us your model when booking and we will confirm.
