Water Filter Cartridges in Bangladesh

What does each cartridge do?

Sediment cartridges catch sand and rust, carbon cartridges remove chlorine and odour, and the RO membrane removes dissolved salts and heavy metals. Post filters polish the final taste.

Cartridge types

  • Sediment (PP) — first stage — traps dirt and rust.
  • Carbon (GAC / CTO) — removes chlorine, colour and smell.
  • RO membrane — removes dissolved impurities.
  • Post carbon / mineral — improves taste and adds minerals.

Replacement guide

  • Every 3–6 months — sediment and carbon filters.
  • Every 6–12 months — post and mineral filters.
